Mar (2010-11-29): Lovely campsite!
We were here in July and even though it was pretty busy (but hey, it's July and peak season, so what else could we expect?!) we found a lovely place - which we got to choose ourselves - and spent 2 very enjoyable days here.
The ladies behind the desk were very helpful and it was no problem for them to book the ferry through the Lysefjord for us.
There could have been a bit more showers and toilets, but the lady behind the desk assured us they would be there in 2011.
The walk to Preikestolen was tough, but beautiful and this campsite is the perfect starting point!
Just one tip; if you plan on staying here in July and August, make sure to arrive on the campsite between 13:00 and 18:00 - you will have plenty of beautiful places to choose from.
