Bretagne

Bretagne or Brittany is a region in France that occupies a vast peninsula in the north-west of the country. Camping Bretagne is very popular choice among the adventure seekers. The region boasts about 200 campsites which are all evaluated by the authorities and awarded from one to four stars, so you always know what to expect prior going to the chosen camping spot. Bretagne has an impressive coast line of around 2700km facing the Atlantic Ocean. Probably the region cannot be pinned for having the perfect all-year-round camping weather but it definitely boasts one of the most spectacular sceneries in France.

When considering camping Bretagne, keep in mind that its busiest period is from July throughout August. It gets really hard to find nice camping spots and the prices go up well beyond average. Therefore, you should probably consider booking in advance or be prepared to settle for not so great camping Bretagne experience. As for the things to do, Bretagne has a lot to offer in terms of outdoor activities. Some people claim that the region is a paradise for water sport lovers and the possibilities are endless. You will have no problems finding places to try sailing or wind/kite-surfing, if you choose a camping spot near the seaside. However, if water sports are not for you, there are still plenty of options to explore in Bretagne. The activities include but are not limited to hiking, cycling, fishing, golfing, horse riding and lazing about on one of the most beautiful beaches in Western Europe. It is definitely worth considering Camping Bretagne if you enjoy mild climate, beautiful scenery and outdoor activities.
