Located in the Fennoscandian region of the Northern Europe, a country with cool semi continental and humid climate, this is Finland for you. Being bordered by Estonia, Sweden, Russia and Norway respectively on the South, West, East and North, Finland is the Eighth largest country of the entire Europe. With around 5 million people residing, it is at the same time most sparsely populated country over the continent. The entire country comprises of thousands of lakes and islands with deep forests covering more than 75% of the total land area and 35 national parks all over the country. The country is also rich in wildlife with more than 250 bird, 60 mammalian and around 70 camping in Finland fish species being present all over the country. If you are planning to start a camping in Finland, then Keuruu, Turku, Joutsa and Tykkimaki are the best places to start from. Some of the most popular outdoor activities include fishing, Nordic Skiing, lake cruises, golf, yachting, kayaking etc. Bird watching is another activity being loved by campers here. The period between June-September is the best time to pack your bags and go for the camping ride in Finland. But, you can decide for a winter camping trip too if you want to experience polar night just above the Arctic Circle.

Our stay spolit by two things: the management allow groups of young men to stay for stag parties/bachelor parties. There was a group of about 15 with lots of noisydrunken shoutin.. More
