Info: Trinity Rocks Camping is reputedly the best campsite in Bulgaria because of its river setting and the shade offered by the many trees. Modern facilities, lots of wildlife and birds to watch on the river. Paradice is commonly used to describe the place. Although it is a country setting, it is very close to Veliko Tarenovo.

Directions: Veliko Tarnovo to the Farm Taxi: The quickest and easiest! Ask for Dimiter: +359896763061 Bus: Take a number ten bus to Gorna Oriohavitsa getting off at Samovodene or Parvomitsi. These run every 20 minutes from any bus stop along the main road running right through. By Road Trinity Rocks Farm is situated between the village of Samovodene and Parvomitsi, 8km from Veliko Tarnovo. Leave Veliko Tarnovo on the road to Ruse (Pyce) E85. After five minutes you reach the first village of Samovodene. Go through the village. Immediately after the Village, there is a right turn to Gorna Oriohavitsa, Turn right here. After 200 metres there is a right turn into the track (signposted). It is well sign posted. From the opposite direction, E85 from Russe/Romania it is the reverse. Before Veliko Tarnovo and the village of Samovodene, you will pass an OMV petrol station on the left side. After the OMV you will go under a bridge. A couple of kilometres down the road there is a left turn to Gorna Oriohavitsa. Take a left here and then after 200 metres take a right onto the farm track.

Dave and Barbara (2011-08-29): Just called in to stay for 1 night and was so enthralled with the beauty of the place we are still here 3 weeks later! The owner couldn't be more helpful and location is ideal for visiting VT. Great wifi and TV in lounge but best of all though is camping by the beautiful river Yantra.

Nattalia (2011-07-24): What a wonderful camping by Veliko Tarnovo at Trinity rocks farm. We felt like we were in paradise. on the morning the first thing we saw when we came out of the tent was the river, all the interseting birds flying around, and it is such a quiet and peaceful place. The owner is the friendliest guy you met, and it is so helpful. We will be defenetly coming back...soon :) They have a new website www.velikotarnovocamping.com

Norman Littler (2011-01-28): I’ve stayed at Trinity Rocks farm 4 times and like others have said, it is a little bit of paradise. It has everything the weary traveller could wish for. The main asset is its beautiful location and setting. Alongside the river Yantra, there are lots of huge lovely trees for shade during those red-hot summer days. It has every facility one could wish for and the owner is so friendly and accommodating. Nothing seems too much trouble to make your stay as happy as possible. I will certainly be returning this year. Fabulous place.

Ryan Marsh (2010-04-27): Recently stayed at this campsite and was knocked out by the place. It was paradise. Such a natural setting by the river. Lovely facilities, modern and clean. met some lovely people there. I would recommend people check this place out before going anywhere else.

By the way Veliko Tarnovo Camping is wonderful if, like me you like bird watching, (twicher) saw some amazing birds there on the river.

Luke (2010-04-21): Recently stayed here on my way through bulgaria to romania. Although i'm not a rock-climber, there were some beautiful scenic walks to do around the rocks and monestary, and being a solo traveler it was great to stay somewhere that felt like home. Everyone at trinity rocks were more than welcoming and i wish i'd stayed longer!

Paul Walker (2010-04-17): Camping Veliko Tarnovo at Trinty Rocks Farm is the best camp site in Bulgaria as far as I am concerned. It has everything, Lounge with internet and Sat TV. kitchen, dining room. beatiful modern showers and toilets, BBQ, fishing and lots of shade for those very hot summers.

I called in for one night and stayed for three, I could have stayed longer.
