2006-04-23 Diving in Europe (diving schools)
Diving is a very demanding sport. You have to get yourself into all that equipment, keep track of the time, depth, the quantity of air left... and when you have finished, rinse the equipment to clean off the salt, dry it out... but the principle is very simple – you have to jump into the water and sink to the bottom. Despite the fact there it is not that simple, over the past few years diving has become a well developed sport in Europe.
To be able to dive you have to complete a course at one of the clubs authorized for this work, which will in the end give you a certificate of having passed the course set by an internationally recognized association. If you have already passed a course, you need an annual license issued by the same clubs or harbor master‘s Office. To start with you don’t have to own any equipment, as you can rent it from one of the better-equipped clubs. If you wish to do underwater fishing, you need a license, which you can also obtain in the clubs or the harbor master‘s Office, where you can find all other necessary information.
